Who we are

The service is run by U-go! di Corvaglia Leonardo, VAT number 05272110759, with its registered office at Via San Angelo 66, 73038 Spongano (Lecce), Italy. Our brands are Salens and U-go! E-bike Salento.

What a Core Week includes

A Core Week is a seven-night stay, always running from Saturday to Saturday, designed for four people. It includes a home, five days of e-bike riding (four trekking e-bikes) and three audio-guided Salentour routes, which are GPS-guided tours.

There are four options. Classic is the house La Dolce Lidia, in Spongano. Oasi is the house Li Curti, in Ortelle. Then there are special weeks, such as Christmas and New Year, and Su misura (tailor-made), where you send us a request and we work out the price by hand. Prices are the ones shown on the site and are totals for four people.

Booking and paying

Classic can be booked straight away online. Oasi is booked on request: you write to us, the host confirms by hand, and then you receive a link to pay the deposit.

You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your card details never pass through our site: they are handled directly by the payment provider.

Your booking is confirmed once you have paid the deposit and we have confirmed by email. We may refuse or cancel a booking if the details are incomplete, if the payment is not valid or if the week is not available. In that case we refund what you have paid.

Deposit and balance

When you book, you pay a 30% deposit. The balance, which is the remaining 70%, is charged automatically to the card you saved 15 days before arrival.

If your arrival is in 15 days or less, you pay the full amount straight away.

Any fees charged by your bank or for currency conversion are your responsibility.

Security deposit

If the house requires a security deposit, it is included in your deposit and is not an extra charge. It is returned to you after your stay.

For the e-bikes we do not place any pre-authorisation on your card.

Changing or cancelling

The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel, no refunds are provided.

With the Unexpected Bonus, you can move your week up to 30 days before arrival at no charge, subject to availability.

Under consumer law, the right of withdrawal that applies to distance contracts does not apply to accommodation and leisure services booked for a specific date, such as the Core Week.

Rain Bonus and Assistance Bonus

With the Rain Bonus, if rain cancels a day of cycling, that day is refunded. If it rains all week, the bike rental is refunded.

The Rain Bonus covers the e-bike rental only. The house part is not refunded because of bad weather. We decide whether an event qualifies.

With the Assistance Bonus, you have telephone assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Using the e-bike

To rent an e-bike you must be of legal age and hold a valid ID document. Minors can ride only when accompanied by, and under the full responsibility of, an adult.

At pick-up we check the bike and its accessories together.

Ride with care and follow the Highway Code. Use is personal, for tourism or leisure.

You may not pass the bike on to anyone else, use it in races or for commercial activities, or carry dangerous goods. You may not ride it under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that affects your ability to ride.

Damage, theft and loss

For the whole rental period you are responsible for any damage to yourself, to third parties, to property, to the bike and to its accessories.

In case of theft, loss, failure to return the bike or irreparable damage, tell us right away. For theft, tell the authorities too. We ask you to cover the value according to the price list below.

If you do not return the bike within 24 hours of the agreed time, it may be treated as removal of the vehicle.

The price list, in euros. Display or computer: 250. Battery: 525. Charger: 50. Helmet: 40.

Anti-theft chain: 40. Backpack: 40. Lock key: 12. Battery key: 12.

Puncture: 15. Theft of the trekking e-bike: 2,800.

For parts that are not listed, we apply the supplier's list price or the actual cost of repair or replacement.

The house

Your stay gives you a temporary right to use the house for the dates you booked.

Respect the check-in and check-out times, the maximum number of guests, the rules of the property and quiet hours.

You may not sublet, hold unauthorised events, bring guests you have not declared, or use the house for anything unlawful.

In an emergency or for urgent maintenance, we or the owner may enter the house, in compliance with the law.

Events beyond our control

If an extraordinary event happens, such as an official health emergency, government restrictions, a serious natural event or the interruption of essential services, we look together with you at moving your stay, a voucher or a partial refund.

If we cancel for reasons on our side, you choose: a full refund or a new date. The refund arrives within 15 days of our written confirmation.

Complaints

If something is not right, write to us within 14 days of the end of your stay.

To dispute a charge, write to us within 30 days of the charge.

Privacy

We process your data in line with the GDPR to manage your booking, payments, communications and assistance. You will find all the details in our privacy notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law.

If you are a consumer, for any dispute the courts of your place of residence or domicile remain competent.
