No week quite fits??

Salento is ours all year round: the two on this page have something extra, but every week can be booked. Just tell us who's coming.

Core Week · seven nights in Salento

Salento, at pedalling pace.

There's a Salento you can't see from the car, and it only makes sense when you go slowly. Seven nights to cross it.

7 nights·5 e-bike days·3 Salentour·1 home, all yours·0 deposit·100+ km of range·empty roads·7 nights·5 e-bike days·3 Salentour·1 home, all yours·0 deposit·100+ km of range·empty roads·

Seven days, with whoever you like, at your own pace.

It's not a tour with a guide up front and a coach behind. It's a week you decide yourself, day by day.

The Core Week

Inverno 2026 / 2027 · Salento

We've reserved it all ourselves.

It's not a list of what's included: it's what surrounds you for seven days.

Period homes

Exposed stone, vaulted ceilings, history inside. The services differ between Classic and Oasi, the character of the place doesn't.

A great location

In the village, everything within walking distance. And the sea a few minutes away by bike, from every home.

A corner to work in

Every home has a proper table and a connection. If you need to be online one afternoon, you can be.

Days outdoors

Five days of e-bike, the coves, the paths through the olive groves. Out in the open, not stuck in a queue.

All the details — what's inside, what we organise together — further down →

The format

Seven days that change your rhythm.

Five days on the bike out of seven at your home base. The other two are yours: to work in peace if you need to, to stay where you feel good, to do nothing. It's the week that adapts to you.

All included

Everything's already in. Nothing to add to the basket.

The bikes, the tours and the home. Classic and Oasi are two alternatives: everything else never changes.

The atmosphere

A village that wakes up slowly, and you riding through it.

You know those places where the bakery opens at seven and the café on the square learns right away how you take your coffee?

Well: for seven days, that's the place you leave from in the morning and come back to at night. The sea a few minutes' ride away, wide roads, all yours, and time to stop wherever you like.

The Core Week

Seven days. The sea stays; everything else changes.

You arrive, and that's it.

Day 1

You arrive, and that's it.

Morning flight into Brindisi. No car to drive.

The bikes arrive at your door.

Day 1 · afternoon

The bikes arrive at your door.

Adjusted to your size, and they stay there all week.

Castro and around.

Day 2 · Salentour

Castro and around.

Hidden coves and the castle above the harbour. Three hours, no rush.

The day you decide.

Day 3

The day you decide.

Nothing planned: the book, the laptop, or the bike.

Otranto and around.

Day 4 · Salentour

Otranto and around.

Porto Miggiano, Santa Cesarea, the Punta Palascìa lighthouse.

Leuca and ancient villages.

Day 5 · Salentour

Leuca and ancient villages.

All the way to the lighthouse where the land ends. The epic ride.

The ride you invent.

Day 6

The ride you invent.

Dirt roads, no track and no schedule.

And then you come back.

Day 7

And then you come back.

The light on, and no wish to pack your bag.

The first Saturday

You're with three friends, and it's a Saturday.

The Porto Miggiano tower, the small group down below

Someone who knows the road wants to show it to you. You hop on, all four of you.

In a car, the sea is something that slides past on the right. On a bike it's right beside you, and you can smell it.

You stop at the railing with the other three. One laughs, and you all laugh.

Salento isn't something you visit: you ride across it.

The four of them leaning on the railing, looking the same way
Stops are decided there, on the spot.
“On a bike, the sea is right beside you.”

We used to think Salento was a summer thing too.

Punta Palascìa, where you see Italy's first sunrise

Everyone goes in summer, and we thought so too. Then we saw it out of season.

The bakery and the café on the square are open: they work for the people who live here.

The roads are clear, all for your wheels.

In winter, in the square, the panare are lit.

The sea runs alongside the road: you watch it, you smell it.

The panara lit in the square, 22 December
The panara, lit in the square.
“Italy's first sunrise is seen from here.”

A Salento like this deserves a week made just for it.

When we found what we were looking for.

The frame of a U-go! e-bike with the blue decal

We started from the front door.

Open the door and your bike is already there, charged.

In your earbuds a voice comes in when you're at the right spot, and goes quiet when you want silence. These are the three Salentour: they start when you arrive.

Five days in the saddle, two empty days. The book, the lunch that stretches out. And if it rains, your bike day is refunded.

When you arrive, a person is waiting for you. And a number that answers.

What you take home with you.

The four riding side by side, among the blooming oleanders

The people you come with. At dinner there's time for the things that get left half-done at home.

The body. The motor pushes you up the hill, you do the ride. In the evening you arrive with good legs.

The mind. The roads run clear and your thoughts fall into line.

And afterwards. The three Salentour stay on your phone: listen again from the sofa and the road comes right back.

The four at the railing, bikes leaning beside them
Time to talk.
“On Monday you head home better than you left.”

Now choose the road, and the door to come back to each evening.

We'll tell you straight away: the voice is rebuilt by computer. The stories and tips, though, are truly his — he was born in Spongano.

How to book

Three steps, and the week is yours.

Step 1

Choose your week

From the calendar, or by sending us your dates. We confirm availability within one working day.

Step 2

Hold it with a down payment

30% on confirmation, the rest seven days before arrival. Card or bank transfer.

Step 3

We write to you

A week before, you get everything you need, and the direct number. You just think about which book to bring.

Included in the Core Week

Three bonuses that stay yours, whatever the weather does.

You don't pay for them separately and they aren't added later: they're built into the week, and anyone renting a bike by the day doesn't get them. They're why you can book now without checking the weather.

Rain Bonus

Rain wipes out a bike day? We refund it. Rains all week? We refund the rental.

Unexpected Bonus

Life changes plans. Up to 30 days before, you can move the week with no penalty, subject to availability.

Support Bonus

How many we run

One week at a time. These are the spots we have.

It's not an offer that stretches when demand grows: it opens for seven nights, then closes again.

01

The spots stay the same

We don't open an extra date to make room for someone. When a week fills up, it's full: you wait for the next one.

02

Two homes, not twenty

There are two, and that's it. When a week is taken, that week is gone: there's no third home to bring out.

03

The good weeks are few

They're the ones with clear roads and clear sea. They don't last all year, and they're the first to go.

Founder of U-go! and Salens

I graduated in Innovation Design, but my real mission is something else: helping people discover the authentic Salento. I don't just offer hospitality: I accompany those who come here to live our land “cu tuttu lu core”, with all our heart.

Before you write

The things people always ask us.

The week

Do you have to start on a Saturday?

Yes: you always arrive on a Saturday and leave the following Saturday, seven nights. If you need another date or a different group, there is the Tailor-made package.

What if it rains?

If it rains all day, or rains in the morning and you can't get out on the bike, that day is refunded. If it rains all week, we refund the rental.

Can I stay fewer than seven nights?

The Core Week is seven nights. For shorter stays there's the Core Pack (5 nights and 3 bike days): write to us and we'll send you that.

Can I work during the week?

It's one of the reasons the bike days are five and not seven. The homes have wi-fi and a proper table. We don't promise an office-grade connection: we tell you that many people do it, in the afternoons.

There are just two of us. Can we do it?

Yes. The home stays all yours, so we work out the price by hand: write to us with your dates and we'll send you the price for two.

The bikes

What bikes are they?

Italwin trekking bikes, mid-drive motor and 8-speed gears. Range over 100 km in medium mode, far more than any day of the programme.

Do I need a licence? From what age?

No licence needed: these are pedal-assist bicycles, not mopeds. You can ride from age 16, but an adult always signs the contract.

What if something breaks?

Call the number and we'll come: first roadside rescue is included in the week, on all routes. If the fault isn't down to you, the bike is replaced, and you don't lose the day.

Payment and documents

Do I have to leave a deposit?

No, you pay nothing upfront. At pick-up you sign the rental contract and leave a card as security, as in a hotel.

When do I pay in full?

30% on confirmation, the balance seven days before you arrive.

Do I have to upload documents online?

No. To book, we only need your name, email and phone. We'll ask for the lead guest's ID later, before the bikes are picked up.

What's not in the price?

The journey to get here, the airport transfer, insurance and entry to museums and caves. We don't leave you to organise them alone: we tell you what makes sense and, if you like, we book them together with you.

Can I add bike days?

Yes, on top of the five included. Tell us how many you need and we'll add them to your quote.

U-go! · now Questions about the Core Week? Write to us here: we'll answer you ourselves.
