Privacy notice
Here we explain in plain terms which personal data we collect when you book a Core Week on salens.it, why we use it and what your rights are.
Who is the data controller
The data controller is U-go! di Corvaglia Leonardo, VAT number 05272110759, with its registered office at Via San Angelo 66, 73038 Spongano (Lecce), Italy. Our brands are Salens and U-go! E-bike Salento.
What data we collect
We collect your first name and surname, email, telephone number, the dates and details of your booking, any notes you write to us, and the outcome of your payment.
We never see your card details and they do not pass through our site: they are handled by our payment provider, Stripe.
What we use it for
We use your data to manage your booking and payment, to send service messages (confirmations, reminders, balance), and to meet legal obligations, namely tax obligations and, where required, reporting guests to the authorities.
The legal basis is the performance of the contract you enter into with us, and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
To provide the service we rely on the following: Stripe for payments, the site's email service, Aruba for website hosting, Cal.com if you book a call, and WhatsApp if you write to us on WhatsApp. If you accept cookies, Meta too, to measure our advertising.
Cookies and advertising
The site uses technical cookies, which are needed to make it work and do not require your consent. The payment page loads components from Stripe that may use technical and security cookies.
Only if you accept in the banner, we also use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and its cookies (_fbp and _fbc). They help us understand which ads brought you to the site and show them to people similar to you. Your choice is saved for six months in the technical cookie ugo_ck, and you can change it whenever you like with "Cookie preferences", at the bottom of every page.
If you accept, when you look at an option, start a booking, send us a request or pay, our server passes the same event to Meta along with your IP address and the browser you use. For requests and payments it also adds your email, phone number, first name and surname in encrypted form (SHA-256 hash), which Meta uses only to match the event to one of its accounts. If you choose "Necessary only", nothing is sent to Meta.
For this part, the legal basis is your consent. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd processes this data jointly with us to measure advertising, in line with its own policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). Some data may be transferred to the United States, under the safeguards of the Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as it is needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations. Accounting documents are kept for the period required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format and object to its use. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
To exercise your rights, write to us at our PEC or on WhatsApp.
